My new Samsung 32” QLED Curved Gaming Monitor to play PUBG

Hi guys, I’m recently into gaming now, thanks to my boyfriend, yes..
Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing, but I’m sure the newest game in town, PUBG is the reason to my gaming addiction. I blame the game. We are hooked.. and to top the icing on the cake, we need a better gaming monitor, and we got it!

It has 60hz refresh rate, so it takes all our worries of the game lagging. It’s a real wet blanket when it always lags when we play, so now with this new monitor, no more worries no more :D

New Skincare Innovation with Traditional Herbs ft. The Face Shop Yehwadam Serum & Snow Lotus Pearl Capsule Cream

Hello lovelies! Welcome back to my space :) I hope you guys enjoyed the Chinese New Year holidays, eating yourselves silly and spending time with family and friends. I definitely had my fair share of fun, but it's time to lose all the weight and start work, hahaha.

Amidst work and all that, I am always trying to take care of my skin, especially the crazy weather nowadays! It's been so hot these days, i just wanna stay at home :3 Hence, writing this blogpost and sharing with you guys a new favourite skincare range in town!

It is called the Yehwadam series by The Face Shop! The Face Shop needs no introduction; it is definitely one of the most prominent Korean brands, always innovating new products, endorsed by popular Korean celebrities & k-pop stars! Koreans are definitely well known for their top notch skincare quality, hence, i'm extra excited to try these products.

The concept & specialty of this Yehwadam is using traditional Korean herbs and flowers. The name Yehwadam in Korean means Yeh (herbs & plants) Wah (flowers) Dam (Story), so they are serious about using natural, plant-based ingredients!

 I'm all for great natural ingredients, as we all know that natural ingredients and less chemicals are best for our skin! Today I will share with you guys my experience with two products from this range, the Yehwadam Revitalizing Serum, and their special Snow Lotus Pearl Capsule Cream (with pearl-sized capsules in the cream, so i was so excited to try it out!!) .

1) YEHWADAM REVITALIZING SERUM 45ml (RM208.90)

The packaging feels luxurious with traditional korean art details. Serums are usually on the pricier side because they are made up of smaller molecules that can penetrate deeply into the skin and deliver a high concentration of active ingredients. Hence, I think the price is value for money for 45ml! 

The main ingredients:-

1) Ginseng, for skin revitalisation and for younger looking skin

2) Safflower, for energised skin & to improve skin tone & complexion

3) Goji Berry, for radiant and glowing skin

Yehwadam Serum also features to remove puffy face and red areas with the Honeysuckle Flower Extract. The texture feels glue-like dewy and concentrated on the fingers, but when applied on the face, it does not leave a sticky residue and immediately leaves my skin plump and vibrant. With its herbs and flowers, this serum boasts to give anti-aging effects and its main function is to prevent wrinkles. Yay!

Here's my skin after applying the Yehwadam Revitalizing Serum :) Definitely feels good, and smells very floral too! Next, I shall apply the Yehwadam Snow Lotus Pearl Capsule Cream! Super excited!!

2) YEHWADAM SNOW LOTUS PEARL CAPSULE CREAM (RM257.90)

This is one of the most interesting innovations in the market! This is because, this cream contains white pearls & snow lotus ingredients encapsulated in pearl capsule forms!!!

One of the reasons it is made into a capsule is to minimise the amount of time in contact with air, so that it does not oxidise/ get contaminated by air, maximising the quality of the ingredients in the capsule to be absorbed into the skin. 

The pearl capsules are infused with snow lotus, pearls, and collagen for instant brightening effect, caring for blemish marks, and super moisturising! It also has anti-wrinkle functions , making skin cells younger and firmer.

Here's to show you how to apply the product : 

Take 3-4 pearls if you're using it as a moisturise, or you could add just 1-2 pearls to mix with your foundation for a nice instant brightening and glowing skin!

I'm trying it as my sole moisturiser today, so I took 3 pearls together with the cream. 

Here's how it looks like after I crushed the pearls with the spatula, and i'm about to apply it on my face!

It looks like I'm applying a mask, hehe! Super nourishing and hydrating! Although I didn't get to crush the pearls completely (as you can see the residue on my face), but as I massage them on my face, it completely absorbs into my skin. Look at the finish on my skin:-

My skin immediately glows! Definitely gives an instant brightening effect which i love!!

If you are looking for a skincare product which gives an instant glow & great brightening effect with a pack of moisture, I highly recommend this one! <3 

All in all, I really feel that this Yehwadam range is definitely worth trying! Using great herbs and flowers with such great results instantly, it seems like a great investment! For the pearl capsule cream, although may be slightly pricey, but in my opinion, it does not need to be used daily. It definitely acts like an extra supplement to the skin, and could be used as frequent as a mask (maybe a few days a week or less). My personal favourite is definitely the Pearl Capsule Cream, for the instant effect and pearl capsules! Definitely recommending you guys to check them out yourselves!

For all Korean beauty lovers | K-Beauty workshop with SON&PARK

Hello beautiful people! If you have been following me on Instagram or YouTube, you would know that I've succumbed to the Korean beauty culture, and I'm totally in love with their beauty products and beauty regime! I mean.. Korea even invented the cushion foundation and it became a global trend where everyone wants to get hold of it!

Anyway, my point is...I'm a huge fan of K-beauty!! Hence, I was truly excited to join the beauty workshop organised by SaSa Malaysia and Son&Park. Son&Park is a true Korean brand! The creators are celebrity make-up artists, best known for popularising the dewy, natural, 'no makeup' make up look. So if you are a fan of the korean look (like myself) , you are in for a treat! 

Let's get started with the workshop and i will introduce you some of my Son&Park must-haves!

And of course, our model of the day and our makeup guru to teach us a thing or two about korean makeup with the beauty products! In the workshop, she demonstrated a day a.k.a everyday makeup look and a night look with just a handful of products!

MUST-HAVES #1: Son&Park Glow Ring Foundation

This is a super convenient on-the-go stick foundation that gives you a natural finish with a moisturising essence core! It also has a brush on the other end (korean products are spoiling us indefinitely!) , just simply brush and blend for a dewy natural finish! 

MUST-HAVES #2: Son&Park Air Tint Lip Cube

Well, the name describes it as a lip tint, but what amazes me is that it could be used as an eyeshadow and blusher as well! And don't get me started on the cute packaging and the lovely colours! 

There you go! Here's my day make up done! 

I used the air tint lip cube on both my eyes and lips and I super love the finish on my face! Also, it's super easy to apply ; I only applied the tint using my fingers and it blends really nicely on both my eyes and lips. Of course, I especially love the finish on my eyes! My first time applying a liquid tint on my eyes and I love it!! Definitely feeling korean :D 

MUST-HAVES #03: Son & Park Shading Liner

To turn our day make-up to a night look, the makeup-guru taught us to use the Son & Park Shading Liner to add depth to our eyes. It acts as a eyeshadow AND eyeliner (2-in1) and it glides onto my eyes SO effortlessly and smoothly! Super silky texture yums hehe! I love how these products make makeup so achievable and effortless!! 

There you go! Selfie game strong hahaha *shameless* 

I added the brown shading liner to add depth to my eyes, and winged it slightly to create a natural Korean-ish look! I also added a darker red shade of lip tint on my inner lips to create the Korean Gradient effect! LOVE! After the workshop, i actually immediately bought the shading liner because the application is so effortlessly easy and it gives such a natural beautiful effect! It also lasted the entire day because it is water and smudge proof!

Mission to find my Wedding Ring

Hello lovely peeps! Well... Is my title hinting something?! Haha actually.. no lah.
I’m not getting married anytime soon. Not too soon, but it’s always good to start early :P My meaning of starting early is, learning to know more about diamonds and finding my perfect ring. Hahaa.. Diamonds are girls’ best friend right? So it’s good to learn early :D

So today I’m here at LOVE&CO at Gardens Mall!!! Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever really stepped foot into a jeweler shop to look for diamonds and rings, so I guess today is the day!! And I’m glad to share it with all of you!!

So why LOVE&CO? Because they specialized in premier jewelries , especially rings with international standard. J I’m particularly interested in the LVC Lovemark collection. So beautiful with so many unique designs with a special meaning!
Just look at them!! I just had to try them on :D

If you are going to buy a LVC Lovemark ring, you will be given this cute couple teddy bear set too! So cute! Also, you could put the ring on the teddy bear for an idea of proposal! Haha! :D

There are so many different specifications to look at… colour, how sparkly it is, the karat, the light symmetry, the clarity, cut and etc!
OMG, seriously I’ve never knew there are so many parameters to look at before I came to Love&Co!

Lol! I think even Joseph is having some headache browsing.. And I do feel for the other guys out there looking to find the perfect ring for their partner!! But fret not!! Now we have a solution to that, all thanks to Love&Co! <3
