For all Korean beauty lovers | K-Beauty workshop with SON&PARK

Hello beautiful people! If you have been following me on Instagram or YouTube, you would know that I've succumbed to the Korean beauty culture, and I'm totally in love with their beauty products and beauty regime! I mean.. Korea even invented the cushion foundation and it became a global trend where everyone wants to get hold of it!

Anyway, my point is...I'm a huge fan of K-beauty!! Hence, I was truly excited to join the beauty workshop organised by SaSa Malaysia and Son&Park. Son&Park is a true Korean brand! The creators are celebrity make-up artists, best known for popularising the dewy, natural, 'no makeup' make up look. So if you are a fan of the korean look (like myself) , you are in for a treat! 

Let's get started with the workshop and i will introduce you some of my Son&Park must-haves!

And of course, our model of the day and our makeup guru to teach us a thing or two about korean makeup with the beauty products! In the workshop, she demonstrated a day a.k.a everyday makeup look and a night look with just a handful of products!

MUST-HAVES #1: Son&Park Glow Ring Foundation

This is a super convenient on-the-go stick foundation that gives you a natural finish with a moisturising essence core! It also has a brush on the other end (korean products are spoiling us indefinitely!) , just simply brush and blend for a dewy natural finish! 

MUST-HAVES #2: Son&Park Air Tint Lip Cube

Well, the name describes it as a lip tint, but what amazes me is that it could be used as an eyeshadow and blusher as well! And don't get me started on the cute packaging and the lovely colours! 

There you go! Here's my day make up done! 

I used the air tint lip cube on both my eyes and lips and I super love the finish on my face! Also, it's super easy to apply ; I only applied the tint using my fingers and it blends really nicely on both my eyes and lips. Of course, I especially love the finish on my eyes! My first time applying a liquid tint on my eyes and I love it!! Definitely feeling korean :D 

MUST-HAVES #03: Son & Park Shading Liner

To turn our day make-up to a night look, the makeup-guru taught us to use the Son & Park Shading Liner to add depth to our eyes. It acts as a eyeshadow AND eyeliner (2-in1) and it glides onto my eyes SO effortlessly and smoothly! Super silky texture yums hehe! I love how these products make makeup so achievable and effortless!! 

There you go! Selfie game strong hahaha *shameless* 

I added the brown shading liner to add depth to my eyes, and winged it slightly to create a natural Korean-ish look! I also added a darker red shade of lip tint on my inner lips to create the Korean Gradient effect! LOVE! After the workshop, i actually immediately bought the shading liner because the application is so effortlessly easy and it gives such a natural beautiful effect! It also lasted the entire day because it is water and smudge proof!

Mission to find my Wedding Ring

Hello lovely peeps! Well... Is my title hinting something?! Haha actually.. no lah.
I’m not getting married anytime soon. Not too soon, but it’s always good to start early :P My meaning of starting early is, learning to know more about diamonds and finding my perfect ring. Hahaa.. Diamonds are girls’ best friend right? So it’s good to learn early :D

So today I’m here at LOVE&CO at Gardens Mall!!! Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever really stepped foot into a jeweler shop to look for diamonds and rings, so I guess today is the day!! And I’m glad to share it with all of you!!

So why LOVE&CO? Because they specialized in premier jewelries , especially rings with international standard. J I’m particularly interested in the LVC Lovemark collection. So beautiful with so many unique designs with a special meaning!
Just look at them!! I just had to try them on :D

If you are going to buy a LVC Lovemark ring, you will be given this cute couple teddy bear set too! So cute! Also, you could put the ring on the teddy bear for an idea of proposal! Haha! :D

Full set of couple rings with the teddy bears with the loveliest packaging! I think it’s nearly perfect! But there are definitely problems.. Sooo many rings to choose from!! How are we gonna choose the perfect one?!
There are so many different specifications to look at… colour, how sparkly it is, the karat, the light symmetry, the clarity, cut and etc!
OMG, seriously I’ve never knew there are so many parameters to look at before I came to Love&Co!

Lol! I think even Joseph is having some headache browsing.. And I do feel for the other guys out there looking to find the perfect ring for their partner!! But fret not!! Now we have a solution to that, all thanks to Love&Co! <3

ULTRA KOREA 2016

Yes, I will start this post by stating that I officially LOVE Korea! I’ve always heard people saying that Korea is less of countries like Japan, and asked me not to put too much expectation on this country, but well, I beg to differ! Okay, maybe it’s not as clean as Japan, or the people are not as polite or nice, but I absolutely love the vibe, the streets, the fashion, the cafes, the food, and it goes on and on. How Korea prioritize on beauty and how they love their own local celebrities (well, I see the main actor of Descendants of Sun left right front centre, lol basically everywhere haha) , and how they focus on the decorations of the exterior and interior ; the shops really take effort to make everywhere so picturesque!

Anyway, I’m here to mainly share about Ultra Korea, because that is the reason I was in Korea! All thanks to Play Club KL, they started a new movement called Play Day Out to send people to international parties, and Joseph & I had the privilege to be the first two to be sent to Ultra Korea, along with some winners! They will be sending people to watch Rihanna in London, and to Ibiza as well next, so that’s super duper cool!

Day 1 was really exciting! Obviously because it’s our very first day, duh. Haha. Instead of drinking beer, we actually bought Soju instead, to keep us feeling fly hahaha, which was pretty different! 

Here’s the whole crew : Winners, management team, and us before going into the stadium.

The highlights for the first night were Afrojack and Martin Garrix, and we were pretty excited to see the stadium, crowd, and of course, the music! 

And here's how it looks inside, when it hasn't turned dark yet! But some people start partying early yo.

Everytime we take a selfie, random people would join our photos, haha. It’s crazy how music festivals bring people together, really. All in the name of music.

I personally enjoyed Martin Garrix very much, especially when our friend Adele is a really huge fan, the influence does get to me haha! I wish I could say he ended with a blast, but unfortunately there was some technical error and he had to end abruptly. Boohoo. But no blame on Marin of course, he was amazing!

And when I thought it wouldn’t get any better, 2^nd night was just cray cray. The crowd was literally more hardcore and party crazy. It’s like the true rave go-ers united in one place! Knife Party & Axewell were cray cray up there! Hardcore music indeed.

 But I had to save my energy for the last day, of course. What more, it’s the last tour for Avicii! We definitely did level up our game in Soju too, hahaha.

That was definitely a night to remember. Dancing to the beat, with friends, together with people from all around the world, in the name of music.

Thanks again Play Club KL for bringing us to Ultra Korea. Definitely worth it!
