My Experience with the all new SAMSUNG NX Mini Camera #firstletmetakeaselfie

They say Carry the Style, Capture the best. 

Here, I have it, the all new Samsung NX mini :) 

The world's slimmest and lightest interchangeable lens camera !

Thanks to Samsung and Manoah, I had the privilege to have my hands on this pretty lil thing, happily playing around with it with an interesting twist!

Me and other 30 bloggers had a fun half-day, given the task to discover the streets of KL, snapping photographs on the streets according to the themes, either Historical Malaysian Buildings, Gastronomical Food, or Sights & Sound. 

My theme for the day was Historical Malaysian Buildings.

Before it all began, we gathered at NU Sentral and we were each given a goody bag, including the NX Mini camera. So excites! hahaha :D

Have I not already told you about the 180 degrees flip screen?

With just a quick flip of the 3.0'' touch display, the NX Mini is on, and ready to take the perfect selfie!

When I say perfect, I mean it ! Picture below is the first selfie that I took with my NX Mini :)

I'm happy with how flawless it makes our skin look, the colours and the lighting :D

I swear I did not edit the picture!

Again, I did not edit it, all I did was flip the touch display, smile, and it was snapped!

Yes, no button necessary :) Selfie made so much easier ! NX Mini has the smile and wink detection function, just to name a few, and all you gotta do is smile / wink, and in two seconds, snapped! 

Next level convenience :D

My theme, like I mentioned, was Historical Malaysian buildings, hence, the pictures of buildings on the streets of KL :) 

I have to say, I'm impressed with the quality of the photos taken!

With a large 1-inch 20.5MP BSI CMOS sensor, the NX mini delivers amazingly high resolution .

And then we went on to The Sri Mahamariamman temple in Kuala Lumpur. I love how NX Mini could capture the beautiful colors of the temple, accompanied by the dreamy blue sky and clouds :)

It even auto made my face looked more flawless :D

Honestly, I have never really taken pictures around KL. It's quite a shame that I tend to appreciate the beauty of other countries when I'm travelling abroad, but tend to forget how beautiful Malaysia is, and the culture within that is manifested.

Fortunately through this event, I start to realize, all over again, and appreciate the beautiful surroundings and the amazingly rich culture that is present right infront of my eyes.

Before I cross the road to Kasturi Walk and Pasar Seni... first...... 

hahahah..

Yay, mission accomplished. All, in an hour, a short but meaningful time discovering KL all over again :)   

Our day ended in Johnny Rockets over lunch :D

My first time in Johnny Rockets and I'm loving the lively vibes and amazing service :)

Still discovering more features and functions that NX mini does :)

STRATOSPHERE @ THE ROOF - #SinceTheHazeIsGone!

Stratosphere! Probably my fourth time here this time around :) 

Wait a minute... have you guys been to Stratosphere @ The Roof? 

Come on, you have right??? At least .. once?? D: 

Okay hahaha sorry, just teasing :P But if you haven't, please head down to the Roof and at least have a look at Asia's first and only luxury open-air rooftop bar on top of an infinity grassed helipad :)
And since the haze is gone *yay*, great view, great place to chill!

Yea, you could totally watch the sunset there, pretty spectacular view. Just head there earlier :)

Beauty Post : 2-in-1 Beauty product - Eyebrow Powder + Nose Shadow

Hello fellow readers :)
Today I'm gonna talk about a new product that I've just tried on, and I'm loving it !!
I call it a 2-in-1, or maybe 3-in-1 product, because it is specially for your eyebrows, and to sharpen your nose, and I think it can work well as an eye shadow as well ! How versatile and magical right?!

Well, for me, the BASIC, and most important make up 101 is to do your brows!
Yeap! I can go bare face, but one thing I can't leave without is makeup for my eyebrows.
Yes girls, it is almost a crime for me, if I'm with full on makeup with eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara and what not, but without doing your brows, it is almost a crime!
So of course, you have to start with trimming your eyebrows :)
Well, for some lucky girls out there, their brows may be thick enough that eyebrow powder/pencil may not be needed, but for the other girls out there ( including myself ), fret not, because this Heavy Rotation eyebrow powder will be here to save you ! (and myself!)
The magical thing about eyebrows are that they could totally beautify your face and makes your eyes, and your features as a whole stand out, if they are shaped and done correctly.
So girls, please do not neglect your eyebrows!

Well, all of us have different thickness / shape / width of eyebrows.
The problem with my eyebrows are, they are thicker on the inner edges, but very fine at the outer edges.
I shall let you have a look at my bare face and you shall judge :)

Do you see what I mean?? hahaha! 

So today, I'm gonna try this Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Eyebrow Powder & Nose Shadow, and I'm going to show it to you! 

Let's get started !!

So as you can see from above, there are 3 different tones of brown, where the lightest on the most left can be used as a nose shadow, whereas the two darker shades are used for the eyebrows.

Here's the clear directions of how to use this product ! :) 

Here we go, just like the instructions said, I used the flat angled brush, using shade B to fill in my brows. I then further used shade C to thicken and smooth out the colour of my eyebrows, especially when the outer edges of my eyebrows are finer.

The pictures above show the difference between my left and right eyebrows, one almost done, and one untouched! Can you see the difference? A little touch can really make a whole lot of difference to your face! :) 

TADAH!!! Easy! After I've done my brows, Next..........

Using the same product, I used the lightest shade of brown, and the nose brush, to brush the sides of my nose!

Incredible! I've always wanted to own a product that can give a visual effect of a sharper nose, and now I have, 2-in-1 , all in just one single product :) Sweeeeeet.

Yay! With more defined nose, and nicely touched up eyebrows, I'm good to go ! :)
